Our goal is to reimagine how email can be done in 2023 and beyond. With YC, we have the right partners to make this a reality.

## What is Resend again?

Resend is an email API for developers. You can think of it as a next-generation Sendgrid.

Since launching 4 weeks ago, we got 4,949 people on the waitlist, and our open source project ([react.email](https://react.email)) is already at 4,168 stars on GitHub.

## Why YC?

I've always seen YC as the best startup accelerator out there. Companies like Airbnb, Stripe, Dropbox, Gitlab, Zapier, and Supabase all came out of it.

Being a part of this program with such a fantastic group of founders and partners is really special.

Together with [Bu Kinoshita](https://twitter.com/bukinoshita) and [Jonni Lundy](https://twitter.com/jonnilundy), we’re participating in the Winter ‘23 batch.

This is just the beginning of a new journey and I'm looking forward to sharing every step of the way with you all!
